December Smartphone Rush: OnePlus, Vivo and Realme Gear Up for New Launches in India
The final month of 2025 will be an exciting period for smartphone buyers in India. Major smartphone brands, including OnePlus, Vivo, and Realme, are ready to launch new smartphone models in India.
After a busy lineup of global launches like the Pixel 10 series, iPhone 17 lineup, and Xiaomi 17 series, December will bring more options to Indian consumers, especially in the mid-range and premium segments.
OnePlus is showing excitement with the launch of the OnePlus 15R on December 17. The company has confirmed that it will be the first smartphone to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset. It will arrive via Amazon in Charcoal Black and Minty Green colours, with multiple dust and water resistance ratings including IP66, IP68, IP69, and IP69K. The handset is expected to include a dual-rear camera setup and will run OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16.
The Vivo X300 series is also ready to make its India launch on December 2. Both Vivo X300 and X300 Pro will be available through Vivo’s official online store, powered by the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chip along with a Pro Imaging VS1 chip and V3+ imaging chip. The X300 Pro model will feature a Zeiss-tuned camera system, including a 50-megapixel Sony LYT-828 primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 200-megapixel telephoto camera for detailed zoom shots.
Realme will join the December launch lineup with the Realme P4x 5G on December 4. It will be sold via Flipkart and powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra processor. The phone includes a fast 144Hz display and a large 7,000mAh Titan battery with 45W fast charging support, along with a vapour chamber cooling system.
Meanwhile, OnePlus is also releasing the OnePlus Ace 6T in China this December. It is said to be a rebranded OnePlus 15R, featuring the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and arriving in black, green, and violet colour options. The Ace 6T will include a flat display with slim bezels and a square dual-camera setup.
Another expected arrival is Oppo’s Reno 15C, teased during the recent Reno 15 series launch event. While the full specifications are yet to be officially shared, leaks suggest a 6.59-inch display with 1.5K resolution and up to 120Hz refresh rate. It may also come equipped with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and a triple-camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony sensor.
Other smartphones tipped to arrive in December include the Vivo S50 Pro Mini, Redmi 15C 5G, Honor GT 2 series, Poco C85 5G, Redmi Turbo 5, and more. As more brands confirm launch dates, this list is expected to grow further, making December 2025 one of the busiest months of the year for smartphone enthusiasts in India.
