WhatsApp New Update: New features released for group chats, events, calls, and channels
WhatsApp, a popular social messaging app in India & world, released new app updates for its users. Users can now monitor online members in group chat by using the real-time indicators that appear under the group name.
Plus, “Notify for” gives users the option to select from all of the messages or “highlights,” such as mentions and responses, giving notification management a more substantial boost.
It will now be possible for users to create events in both 1:1 and group chats. The user can now set an end time, add a plus one, and pin an event in the chat window, among other new features.
Also, reactions have become more dynamic, allowing users to quickly respond to others by simply pressing on previous reactions. Users of iPhones can use WhatsApp as their default messaging and calling app, and they can scan and send any document directly from the app.
Channel administrators also receive voice message transcriptions, video notes, and scannable QR codes that facilitate audience growth.
